Biography

I am a multidisciplinary artist with a background in fashion design, textiles, painting and immersive installation. Since 2014, my practice has explored vulnerability and uncomfortable emotions through overlooked beauty. My current focus is ceramics, which I am developing through ongoing practice with Emma Cosy at Pottery Parkside. Inspired by the extraordinary microcosmos of nature, I create sculptural forms that magnify small natural objects and celebrate their intricate details. Through experimentation with clay bodies, textures, slips and glazes, I explore the expressive possibilities of clay, embracing imperfection and balancing control with surrender.
